Annual Emerging30 Innovators Program

The Young African Entrepreneurs Institute, through the Youth Innovation Challenge, selects 30 high-impact potential, Afrocentric, and technology-driven youth innovative solutions for the challenges in food security, health, energy, crime, environmental affairs, transport, and manufacturing. The programm also brings together the Internet of Things, Artificial
Intelligence, Automation, Digitisation, and Big Data.
In-depth the Emerging30 programme provides support for both the entrepreneurs/innovators and their ventures/projects. The key elements of support will include but are not limited to access to funding, access to markets, skills development, and advisory services/coaching.

The Emerging 30 is supported in partnership with the African Entrepreneurship Development Corporation and Wits Entrepreneurship Hub. The participants are selected from universities across the country.
